Alasdair is opening a Jazz Appreciation Group. The group would welcome anyone who likes jazz in any form, whether you want to find out more or to help others explore music they have not come across before. What we do will be influenced by members' suggestions, though a big proportion of time will probably be spent listening to recordings. There is a vast amount of recorded jazz available on CD and Vinyl and through Streaming, and this should be a good opportunity to be introduced to styles or performers you are not familiar with. We would hope that members will participate by contributing recordings or playlists, and that people will be happy to join in discussions.
